REJOICE AND BE GLAD

SILVER FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY OF OUR PRESENCE IN THE PHILIPPINES.

• 
• The Event started with a Eucharistic celebration with Fr. Leo Dalmao, CMF the Provincial Superior of the Philippines  , Presider  and 10 other Claretian Priests con -celebrants.

• We also congratulate the three Indonesian Sisters : Ida Royani, Friska Purba and Skolastica Neldis for the graced of the Religious Profession made today.
• with us   present in the celebration were the newly elected Vice Provincial Superior Assumpta Hori and her council . Sr. Inocencia Rodrigo , who came from Indonesia to attend the said celebration, whose present was significant since she had been missionary in the Philippines for 25 years.
• among the highlights of the event was the raffle draw . Give away prizes were : First Prize - LCD Television, 2nd prize- Digital Camera , 3rd prize- Dvd portable player.
• There were several people who came over to graced the celebration -our mission partners, families of some of our sisters, the Claretian family-brothers , some representatives from  the apostolate areas  .
• there was a short program : dances from the different stages of formation, some dance numbers -
  Srilanka, Indonesia , song interpretation, Philippines, surprised number from the professed sisters.
• Greetings received  from some of the sisters, priests and friends .
• It was a time to rejoice, get together, share our dreams onward,  be renewed, be grateful , work  hard unceasing and to hope against all hope.
• Some Give Away items were prepared for the occasion. they are : T- shirts , Mags, fun.
• we are also grateful for the donors,sponsors in kind and in cash.
• for a lot of people who supports us in many and meaningful ways among those are our mission partners.
• for all KAMI KASHA...THANKS BE TO GOD. All glory and honor be to you, O Lord.
• for those those who accompanied us , support us and prayed for us, thank you very much. 

Closing of the IX VICE-PROVINCIAL CHAPTER

August 8, 2012

The Chapter was officially closed after the Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Victor Sadaya, cmf together with the sisters in the Formation House. The Chapter community was very grateful for the accompanying support of the sisters in the whole Congregation with their prayers.

The chapter has ended last August 9,2012 . The sisters went back to their respective communities. Hopeful, that we do our part well and God will do the rest.  That we carry out what is possible . May God bless all our efforts as we embark to be NEW APOSTLES LIGHT FOR OTHERS .

August 6, 2012, on the feast of the Transfiguration  of  our Lord Jesus, the Election for the New Vice  Provincial Government was held . This morning we had finished the election and  the members of the  Vice Provincial Government for the year 2012-1015 ...

A day to dwell  on the working paper.  three groups were created. Two groups for English speaking  and one for Japanese speaking . We work to study  on the working paper .  Only few of our outline  differs but the big part were similar during the presentation.

CHAPTER EVENTS

The theme  : NEW APOSTLES , LIGHT FOR OTHERS !

with   21  chapter members from Korea, Japan, Philippines, East Timor ,Indonesia

August 1, the chapter was opened with a Recollection facilitated by Chapter President herself Maria Soledad Galeron on the topics "  Fill the Jars with water " Jn. 2,1-11,  certain numbers from the Constitutions  and 16th Chapter documents  and on the orientation of what a chapter is.

At 5:00 in the afternoon we all gathered in the chapter room for the invocation to the Holy Spirit, the election of the working commissions and the Chapter Secretary  for an hour before the  Eucharistic celebration  followed.

August 2, the  group were introduce to approve  the working paper we had.The presentation of the Government report  and  the Adminstration. In the afternoon we were set in groups to work -two groups for English and  1 for Japanese. In  the evening after dinner we took time to decorate our exhibit corners. it was really great fun.

August 3, we continued with the working group , afterwards we  went on with the sessions in the chapter room. The Priest presider of this day was the Provincial of  the Philippines Fr. Leo Dalmao, CMF. In his homily he said " the chapter time is  ABOUT GOD. WHAT GOD WANTS FROM US. It is also the moment were obedience is at its height" .

It was a good time to know , to carry those thoughts  as we  end the day  having been working on the pre-chapter document..
