25TH FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY

Formation House ,Quezon City, Philippines ( 1987 to 2012 )  celebrates its SILVER JUBILEE .

Our first community in the Philippines.

The formation house that  had formed candidates  from India, Srilanka , Indonesia , Japan , korea  and at present  welcomes candidate from East Timor and Vietnam and not to forget Philippines.

WE THANK THE LORD AS WE CONTINUE TO HEED  HIS CALL '" GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES."

Series of activities are set for the celebration. Join us in thanking the " Lord for having blessed us with 25 years of meaningful  presence  here in the Philippines...we pray that we may fix our gazed on God  and teach us to do all that is good  and make us holy in his sight."

FORMATION COURSE

   Gathering of Formators organized by the General Government  in collaboration with the Vice Province :   Jolanda Kafka- General Prefect of Formation , Ana Maria Mandrile- General Secretary , Maria Soledad Galeron - Superior General and  Mayte Garitagoitia- Provincial of Sur , Spain  each one will be”  collaborating with the preparation and deep participation  in the Formation Course “  on June 28 to July 28,2012 

“ In the document of the XVI General Chapter the formation appears as the fundamental reality of our Congregation, as both activity and dimension of our missionary life”.( cf. Jolanda Kafka letter, January 31, 2012 )

Welcome home participants ,,, which many of them now serving in the formation houses  and are now  formators  were formed and  had made their temporal profession   in that same house ( Quezon city ) . 

We are also grace with your presence as Quezon City   celebrate its silver Jubilee ( 25th anniversary ) this year and will culminate on October 6, 2012 with a solemn Eucharistic celebration  in the same house. 

We pray that our Blessed Mother accompany us to be faithful apostles with the torch of the Gospel in our hand.

Let us accompany this momentous occasion with our prayers.

FOLLOW ME...

June 29,2012, Formation House, Quezon City, Philippines

On June 29, 2012, the feast  day  of two great saints;  Peter and Paul,  and the day which I entered  to the  stage of Postulancy. I really thank God for this gift of vocation,  as well  to the province for accepting  me  into this new stage of formation. Personally I’m very happy for this new   experience in my life. Pray for me that I may continue to strive each day to  live with perseverance in this chosen  vocation. Thank you so much sisters for your great love and support. SELVIA

 

On June 29, 2012,  it was  my great joy   where  I begin with this  new stage as a Postulant to this  Claretian congregation.  And it was a happy moment   where   there were many sisters present, they came from different countries for the seminar for formators . It was first time for me that I felt so happy.  For the first time  I had good   retreat, it was  nice experience. I’m very grateful  to God  for the gift of religious vocation and the support of my sisters  in the community and for challenging me to grow in my vocation. Thank you so much sisters, pleas pray for my perseverance.  ZELIA

Personal Training on Leadership

May 21 to June 1, 2012, Quezon  City, Philippines.  The 11 novices  had a week lecture on PERSONAL TRAINING ON LEADERSHIP, with Mr. Ernest Tan, a person well verse on the said topic. Held at the Maria Antonia Paris Retreat House.

On May 29  to June 1 ,2012 ,the novices of Quezon City had their summer activity with the seminar on Training for Leadership with Earnest Tan.  First of all we the novices  are  grateful  to the sisters in the community for their generosity , by giving us an opportunity to attend this kind of seminar, indeed this four days seminar has given as a lot of understanding on how to be a good leader, thus to be a good leader does not depend on the titles rather it depend on how she or he lead the people with honor. During those days of seminar several things we realized, that  led us to  better self- identification, such as knowing the personal power, since we are all  gifted with personal power in spite of the limitation we have, But what make the difference is our capacity and ability to go beyond , therefore we need to exercise those power first before we empower others. Other learning was that of  healthy relationship, the skill on how to relate with others, and the challenge is now how to put in practice all we have learned because every learning always asked to practice.. After all leadership is about constant building of oneself ….only transformation  will make one  become great leader.
