P.A.R.T. Convention Palawan

Palawan, Philippines. Sisters Gerlin, Marita and Teresita had the opportunity to take part in the Philippine Association of Religious Treasurers ( PART ) convention from November 9 to 12. The three sisters went to represent the community of Zamboanga ( Sis. Gerlin ), Guimaras ( Sis. Marita ), and Quezon City ( Sis. Teresita ). It was said that there were 360 and more religious delegates from all over the Philippines.  Here are some of their photos:

Visit of Fr. Rojan ,cmf Sri-lankan

Zamboanga City,Philippines.We welcomed in our midst Fr. Rojan , Claretian , a Sri lankan priest and currently the Provincial,  who came over to visit us one afternoon and we had the  joy to be together for dinner with him are his  three brothers  novices who are here for their exposure. The two novices are  Sri lankans .

Farewell and Perpetual Profession of Selfia

FAREWELL AND CONGRATULATIONS

October 22, the Formation House community, Quezon City , Philippines, prepared a simple and heart warming  farewell program for sister Selfie. She will be assigned to Indonesia after having been in the Philippines for 10 years.

We thank her for the witness of a day to day  commitment . Her silent witnessing ,peaceful  and approchable personality , to mention a few, are some of  her unique ways of making a difference. Go and proclaim Christ...

CONGRATULATIONS ! Sister MARIA YOVITA SELFIA BESI on your Perpetual Profession day , October 28, Indonesia. Sisters who joined the celebration were Teresa Hasimoto , the Vice Provincial, Inocencia Rodrigo, the Vicar and Rizalyn Solitario, the Philippine Delegate . We accompany you and pray for you for your holy perseverance and may you  find meaning and joy in the vocation you chose to follow the Lord. MAY THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD BE UPON YOU, MAY HE BLESS IN THE NAME OF THE LORD... God be with you.

Feast of Patrocinio Giner

November 13  MARIA PATROCINIO GINER

She was born in Tortortosa, Spain, on January 4, 1874. She professed in the Congregation of Religious of Mary Immaculate , Claretian Missionary Sisters in 1893 and always fulfilled with joy and fidelity her various assignments.

She underwent the Spanish religious persecution of the year 1031-1936. Steadfast in her faith and vocation, she welcomed martyrdom with fortitude and peace, while she prayed for, and forgave her executioners.

She received the crown of martyrdom on November 13, 1936 at  Portichol-Valencia, Spain, and was Beatified on March 11, 2001 by His Holiness Pope John Paul  II.

1. She bore him much deeper in her heart from where no one could ever take Him.

2.What  a large threatening cloud cover us but our trust is in Him

3. in the midst of so much persecution our faith is toughen, the heart is purge and the will is ready to suffer evrything the Lord allows to come over us. may it be for our good.

4. I am taking Jesus  Christ our Lord and I would die a thousand times before turning Him in.
5.Christ gave up his life out of love and with love  we should also be disposed to give it up

We would like to thank  sis. Lensy for your availabilty to come and join zamboanga  city community  even it was just a  short period of time .Your present was really of great help . Your commitment is excellent !It was really great to have you around. She came to zamboanga City last October 19 and left the city on OCtober 31. Last  November 9, from Manila she flew to Indonesia to join the community there . All the best .

8th Vice Provincial Chapter of Asia 2009

8TH VICE PROVINCIAL CHAPTER

One of those important events in the Vice Province of Asia was the 8th Vice Provincial Chapter celebrated last October 14 till 22. The chapter welcomed delegates coming from East Timor, Indonesia, Korea , Philippines and not to forget the host country -Japan. We have a lot to thank the Lord for the marvelous things HE has done before, during and hoprful that He will continue to do so as we part ways and live the spirit of the chapter in the places we are called minister. So help us God. Our Congratualtions to our New Vice Provincial Government . Here witnessed the some of the events in the video.

Vocation Ministry - Zamboanga City

VOCATION MINISTRY

The Zamboanga City , Philippines culminated their Vocation activitites which was the whole month of September with a Vocation Jamboree On October 3 and 4, held at the Claret School Gymnasium. It was an overnight event with 1,400 youth coming from the different parishes and schools in the City.Our dormitorians came as well to join the said event with sis. Lensy . Sister Gerlin was one of those chosen to give a testimony of her vocations tory to the crowd tthat night. She did very well with an applaused from the two bishop listening her story at the end of her sharing she rendered two songs her original composition. Here are some highlights of the events.
