A WALK TO REMEMBER

Click to play this Smilebox collagePhilippines.  August 14, 2010, the formation house community, Quezon City had prepared a musical play on the life of Antonia Paris enttitled: A WALK TO REMEMBER. The Characters were played by the postulants and novices with the support of some of our staff in the Retreat House.  The presentation was made the night before the congregational seminar will start with Sis. Sole.  The Director of the said play was Sis.Magdalena Seno.  This musical play was created in line with the year celebration on the 125th Death anniversary of Antonia  Paris.   In the script ,  the mother of Antonia was played by  novice Veronica De Jesus ( East Timorese) , Antonia Paris was played by novice Teresia Tina, and the close friend of Antonia who played Florentina Sangler was Francisca ,2nd year novice and Anthony Claret by Lermin, a novice.  It was a good start before the first day of the seminar to make us remember that beautiful story of God's love unfolded in the the life of Antonia that had ended with a life commitment to renew the Church cost what it may be.  Thank you for making our imagination walk for us to remember that GREAT  STORY of our founders  for us to  receive that same inspiration of our founders to enable us  walk   to that   path anew today.

Congregational Seminar

Philippines.  We welcomed with gratitude for having in our midst Sis. Soledad Galeron , who did the effort of extending her trip to help us young sisters of the Vice Province ... she came from Japan after directing the spiritual excercises of our sisters coming from the 3 communities in Japan and those from korea.

The communities of Zamboanga and Guimaras joined the Quezon City community for the said seminar on - FOUNDERS  AND EVANGELICAL POVERTY THE FOUNDATION OF THE NEW APOSTLES.

Those few days we had from August 14 till the 16th were days of joy to strengthen our fraternal bond, renew our love for our Religious Claretian vocation , be filled with wonder and new discoveries from the readings given to us, days of prayer and challenges. We continue to hope in the Lord and with the great model before us- Claret and Paris we , too may bear fruit in season and out of season.

THANK YOU SISTER SOLEDAD .
