Sri Lankan entered the Novitiate on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. They were received by no less than our Provincial Superior of the Vice-Province of Asia, Sr. Asunta Hori, RMICM.

They received the Constitutions and the Directory of the Congregation

Vocation Promoters Asian Encounter

Quezon City , Philippines. March 24 and 25 were days  scheduled for  the  promoters to gather.  There were  10  sister participants  who attended the session.  The content of the two days  encounter  : the   Qualities of the vocation promoter , what do we promote , the role  of the  religious life , to understand vocation culture .  Second day we dwelt on : sharing  the how we do vocation promotion  in each country and  the  joy of sharing  vocation  materials.
Each one left the encounter enlightened and   with profound and clear   understanding  of the life and mission of the vocation  promoter. Thanks for the reading time and prayer sharing we had  .
We ask the Lord of the harvest to continue to help us and  guide us   in our vocation ministry  .

The First Religous Proession

  March 12, 2014, Philippines. The  First Religious  Profession     of three Srilankans and     two Indonesians with  Fr. Amador  Tumbaga   as the main  celebrant   with several other con-celebrant  priests .  Let us  join our   prays for their Holy perseverance   and profound joy for having  chosen the  Lord. They professed   before Sis. Maria Soledad Galeron  ( Mother  Superior ) .

A Glimpse of the Asian Encounter

Quezon City , Philippines. On March 5 to 10, 2014 , was the  Asian Encounter . It is meant to  gather the Superiors of the different communities under the jurisdiction of the Vice Province of Asia . The Encounter was facilitated by the members of the  General Government , to mention they are : Sisters Soledad Galeron 

( Mother Superior ) , Jolanta Kafka  ( General Prefect of  Formation ) and with them Asunta Hori   ( the  Vice Provincial  Superior  ) and the rest of the  vice provincial  councils .  Among those who graced the occasion were  representatives from  East Timor, Indonesia, Korea , Japan  and  Philippines . This encounter took place within the big project  of restructuration  of the Congregation under the leadership of the  General Government .

EDUCATIONAL TRIP

Sto. Nino Catholic School , Guimaras , Philippines. March 3 , 2014 . 

Teachers , Staff and some Elementary  pupils joined  the Educational Trip to GARINFARM INLAND AND RESORT , describe to be " where agriculture , pilgrimage and  leisure fits  in one " . 

It was indeed a new experiences for each one. ( to see pictures : visit the school official Facebook : sncs_buenavista_guimaras ). We were  all overjoyed for everything .

INFORMATION ON ASSIGNMENTS FOR 2014-2017

Dear Sisters:

            Our Vice-Provincial Superior, Asunta Hori and the Council would like inform  you of the result of the deliberation for the change of assignments  during the Council Meeting on January 19-26, 2014. In conformity with the norms in our Directory (No. 389), the sisters have been assigned to form the communities of the Vice Province for the next triennium (2014-2017) effective April 7-12, 2014 for Japan Communities and for the rest of the communities will be on April 14-19, 2014.

            Please be informed also that the Community of Ichihara will be closed temporarily and the sisters who will continue to live in the house will form part of the community of Kurashiki where the superior resides.

            We would like to bring also to your knowledge that Sr. Everdina Ruste has requested to be absent in the community for four (4) months beginning 1^st week of May until the last week of August 2014 and her request was granted.

            Trusting in the protection and intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary we put ourselves in the Hands of the Lord who makes all things possible with our commitment and generosity.   

            May His Name be glorified as we carry out our missions!
