The Delegation of the Philippines are all together in  Manila, for the three day growth seminar in preparation for the celebration of the coming silver Jubilee ( 25th anniversary of the foundation ) of the foundation of the first house in the Philippines which is in Quezon City.  The seminar  was entitled: GROWING  TOGETHER IN COMMUNITY LIFE " A WAY OF BEING CHURCH ". Given to us by Mr. Earnest Tan, a well known writer, speaker and composer. The  seminar started last December 21 and ended on December 23rd... The Dynamic of the seminar is to revisit our personal history, loving our history with its good side and not so good side of our life, recognizing our needs, claiming our limitations and clarifying and naming our values.We have been truly refresh and had so much learned from each others life history. It is only when we understand the story of the other one learns to to compassionate . That proves true as we listen each other tells her story with excitement.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

First Communion

The Sto. Niño Catholic School community in Guimaras-Philippines has joyfully celebrated the First Communion of the Grade 2 children in the vesper of May Immaculate on 7^th December 2011. The teachers, staff and the sisters joined to clean and to decorate the Church in order to prepare for Eucharistic Celebration. The liturgy was well prepared to help the community to participate actively in the Holy Eucharist. The parish community has joined the children to welcome the Lord in their hearts and witnessed to the children’s faith. It was a joyful day for the community of Sto. Niño Catholic School and to the parish.Thank you Lord for the gift of Mary in the Church as our Mother and model.

La Escuela de Sto. Niño en Guimaras-Filipinas ha celebrado alegremente la primera Comunión de los niños de Segundo grado en las vísperas de María Inmaculada en 7 de Diciembre 2011. Los maestros, trabajadores de la escuela y las hermanas juntadasa limpiar y decorar la Iglesia para preparar por la celebraciónEucarística. La liturgia estaba bien preparada a ayudar la comunidad para participar activamente en la Eucaristía. La comunidad de parroquia ha juntado con los niños a invitar el Señor en sus corazones y testimoniado de fe de los niños. Estaba un día feliz por la comunidad de la escuela de Sto. Niño y la parroquia. Gracias señor por el don de Virgen María en la Iglesia como Madre y modelo.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Zamboanga City, Philippines. The Maria Antonia Paris students had  their first ever Marian procession  outside of the  dormitory vicinity  with the Recitation of the Rosary .  All the students took part in the said celebration including our non- Catholics students. We were happy to be able to manifest our love for our Blessed Virgin Mary in this simple act of  doing the procession.   The family of our staff had also join us in this said activity.

Parisian On Mission

Zamboanga City, Philippines. December 4, 2011, the Maria Antonia Paris  students  agreed to have an out reach program. The recipients are those children in Baliwasan Chico, ages 4 to 7 years  under the program of the Antonia Paris Mission ( Sunday  feeding ). The morning of that day, at 9:00 some of the students took time to be with our 18 out of 20 children who came for the party. Two room mates  rendered a dance number, they program committee had also prepared some games with prizes and some of them played with them. The Children received the gifts  with a grateful  hearts which the  gift committee bought . They ate and were very happy. Not only were the children happy, the students were also filled with joy , amazed and were grateful for the opportunity given to them to Make Others Happy , with their individual contribution and efforts of love.  God knows what is best for us . Thank you Lord... ( see slideshow  left side )

Quezon City , Philippines.  last October 2011, two novices to be had arrived to the Philippines from Yogjakarta, Indonesia to continue their initial formation as novices under the  guide of Anastasia Wio, the novice Directress. At the moment they busy themselves to review and study the English language to facilitate  communication and  more so their very formation. We wish all the best for them and  with our prayers to keep them company.

Lord I come to do your will

                 It’s a great joy for me to receive my first profession here, in our congregation by the help of Jesus Christ and Mary who accompany me always. And my joy  continuously encouraging me in my journey to say “yes” to His call in joy and in painful situation and even until death, with a big responsibility and love. I thank God for the gift of vocation that He entrusted to me. And continue to ask his grace that I may be faithful to my commitment as “a Claretian sister”. Just like Blessed Ma. Patrocinio Giner, who gave her life totally to the Lord and said, “Lord…I’m Yours.” And in this moment too, I would like to thank to all Claretian Sisters” all over the world for your prayers and supports; It’s really a big help for me to remain faithful to God’s call.

Lord I come to do your will

I am so grateful to God for the gift of vocation that He entrusted to me. He has chosen me out of love and care in spite of my unworthiness. And it is a great joy for me to profess in this congregation and this joy is not only for the day I professed but forever and the joy in answering God’s call. The parable of the talents also inspired me in this journey of my vocation. Which God entrusted to me this gift in order to gain and to bear fruits. Therefore, I should, be responsible to this gift and respond in each day with and open heart to the will of God. And I would like to echo the words of Mother Patrocinio Giner that said: “Christ gave up his life out of love and with love we should also be disposed to give it up.” And this is the call of God for me in following Him to be faithful in each day. In this opportunity, I would like to thank the entire sister in the Congregation for the prayer and support.

Who is Patrocinio Giner?

 MEMORIES ABOUT HER * she confessed her discontent of not being worthy of martyrdom,  *  She prayed for Spain and offered herself again so that  Christ may reign in all hearts. * she  was distinguished because of her peace and spirit;she infused serenity to the sisters.- Christ  gave up his life out of love and with love we should also be disposed to give it up." * she bore the cross with dignity, serenity and devotion. *she was an exemplary religious, she knew how to penetrate  the depth of the heart,giving importance to the things that were essential to life: love of God, of the Heart of Jesus, to whom she was very devout and of the Virgin;sensitivity and willingness to remedy, when possible the needs of the people who are close to us; acceptance of each person as the person is and to value that person's effort;remembering that we always live in the presence of God. she disciplined the students with meekness , and when she reads the grades, they were not satisfactory, she encouraged the students to set their minds on doing better, and the students would desire to do so.She was very much loved by students and by their mothers with whom she created ties of most affectionate friendship.* she had the gift of being a people person, for she attracted  others with her kindness and intelligence and as some people noted with her capacity of giving sound and convincing advice that always invoked the favor of God. * We can imagine M. Patrocinio as a woman who was open , welcoming and close to the people without losing the unity of life in God and the bonds of community. * If she was attentive  in her apostolate , she was even more so with the sisters...

HAPPY FEAST DAY TO ALL !!!

... AT AGE 62  AND 42 YEARS OF RELIGIOUS LIFE, WAS EXTINGUISHED. THE FLAME OF HER LOVE AND FAITH WAS NOT EXTINGUISHED,HOWEVER IT REMAINS KINDLED, IRRADIATING ,ENCOURAGEMENT, COURAGE AND ENTHUSIASM IN OUR WORLD.

MAY MARIA PATROCINIO GINER-- INTEGRATED WOMAN, IN LOVE WITH GOD, COMMITTED TOTALLY TO HER MISSION- INTERCEDE FOR ALL OF US WHO HAVE KNOWN HER THROUGH  THE TESTIMONIES OF THOSE WHO HAVE KILLED HER.

" I am taking Jesus Christ our Lord and I would die a thousand times before turning Him in "  Blessed Giner

Lines from the Aspirant

I want to be a sister because my own desire. The Lord called me when I am still in my mother’s   womb. In my heart there is a saying "Come follow me". This voice I hear din my heart since I was in elementary until I finish my Senior high school. I know the Claretian Sisters from my brother actually who know the sisters as well.  When I hear of Claretian, I immediately fell in love. I’m happy of it.

Further more, I was given cell phone number of one of  the Claretian Sisters (Sr. Emanuela Ratna). I used to have contact with Sr. Ratna for 3 months without seeing face to face, only through the mobile phone. My willingness to join in  this congregation is because one of the Claretian missions is to serve God and neighbor. And after living for several months in Jogjakarta community , the things that attract me in this community is their services and community life. Usually on Sunday, I used to accompany the sisters to give communion for the sick and I come to know this congregation through the celebration of foundation day just we celebrated last month. It’s so exciting since we had some activities and one of them is to draw the face of Mother Paris and St. Maria Antonia. There are sisters who give input for my drawing; there are sisters who laugh because they feel funny. All jokes and laughter   are my beautiful experiences here .I really feel happy that I can’t express with words. Only God knows how happy I live this kind of life as Claretian Missionary Sister , LIFE IN COMMUNION.
